A REPORT ON CONSCIENTIZATION PROGRAMME Conducted on 9th January 2018 Topic: Drug Abuse in Adolescence period INTRODUCTION Conscientization is a popular education and social concept developed by Brazilian educational theorist Paulo Freire. It includes taking action against the oppressive elements in one's life that are illuminated by understanding. As part of the B.Ed curriculum, we the teacher trainees conducted a conscientization programme during the teaching practice in the school M.K.L.M.H.S.S Kannanalloor. We selected the topic "Drug Abuse in Adolescence period." We conducted the programme on 9th January 2018, in 9 D. Drug abuse is a serious health problem that affects almost every community and family in someway. It plays a major role in problems such as drugged driving, violence, stress and child abuse.
